The bill (Reg. No. 2330a refined) aims at establishing favorable conditions for the development of intellectually capacious production within components of the national project “Tekhnopolis”; support subjects of software industry; attract direct foreign investments; introduce advanced technologies and international best practice; establish new highly-productive work places and stimulate economic growth.
People’s deputies believe that adoption of the bill will allow legalize work of tens of thousands of IT-specialists and will prevent their departure from Ukraine. Moreover, it will help involve leading international IT companies and specialized national investors into the massive development of this branch in Ukraine.
It was noted that the Committee received numerous proposals from the European Business Association, Internet Association, Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Telecommunication Chamber, and Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine. They were elaborated and generalized in the opinion of the Experts Council at the Committee.
